Biographical Note for GLASSER'S DISEASE

Glässer \ˈgles-ər\ , Karl (flourished 1906), German veterinarian. Glässer first described an arthritic form of influenza in pigs in 1906. At the time it was a common disease in Europe. It has since become known as Glasser's disease.
